Kova Silk

Rachael, the British-Ghanaian founder of Kova Silk, spent years straightening her hair. Learning to care for her natural curls took time. She was putting so

much effort into her hair, only to wake up with tangles and breakage, and curls that had lost their definition overnight.

Rach struggled to find a bonnet that suited her hair and routine. She wanted a better silk option that balanced quality, fit and price. That’s what led her to creating Kova Silk.

Working responsibly with specialist silk manufacturers in Suzhou, China, to offer pricing that makes the everyday luxury of silk more accessible.
